I am currently a graduate student in Hillary Young’s community ecology lab at UCSB. My research focuses on how human impacts, such as climate change and species introductions, reshape ecosystem structure and function. I enjoy the outside time, the data analysis, and all the reading that comes with this job, but my favorite part of science is all the amazing people I've had the privilege to work with and learn from. I'm really looking forward to continuing these adventures in science with the FUERTE team!
I study the interactive effects of warming and predator introduction on aquatic communities.
